Terms of Service

RunnersGarage is an AI-assisted coaching product covering shoe recommendations, training plans, race search, nutrition guidance, and recovery/return-to-run protocols, delivered primarily through a chat interface.

RunnersGarage is not a medical provider, and nothing it produces — including recovery protocols, injury-related guidance, or nutrition advice — is a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified physician, physical therapist, or dietitian before making decisions about an injury, a health condition, or your diet, especially before returning to running after an injury. If you're experiencing a medical emergency, contact emergency services, not this app.

Responses are generated by AI models and may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date — this applies to shoe pricing/availability, race dates and registration status, and generated plans alike. We ground shoe and race recommendations in our own curated data where we can, but you should independently verify anything time-sensitive (a race's registration deadline, a shoe's current price) before relying on it, particularly via the link back to the original source we provide.

Some shoe and gear links are affiliate links — if you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Affiliate links are marked as such wherever they appear. Our recommendations aren't influenced by which affiliate program pays more; the underlying shoe catalog is curated for fit and performance, not commission rate.

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us and for keeping your account credentials secure. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. One person, one account — don't share credentials or create accounts to evade a suspension.

RunnersGarage offers a Free tier and a paid Pro tier (monthly or yearly). Pro subscriptions are billed and processed by DodoPayments as merchant of record — your payment method and billing details are handled by them, not stored by us. Pricing, billing cycle, and cancellation are as shown at checkout; you can cancel anytime from Billing, effective at the end of your current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for anything unlawful, or to harm yourself or others;
• Scrape, bulk-extract, or resell the shoe/race catalog or AI outputs;
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, bypass rate limits, or abuse the AI pipeline (e.g. prompt injection intended to extract system prompts or other users' data);
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with anyone;
• Upload or submit content that's illegal, infringing, or abusive.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

You retain ownership of the messages, profile information, and saved items you submit. By submitting them, you grant us the license needed to store, process, and display them back to you as part of operating the Service (including sending them to the third-party processors listed in our Privacy Policy to generate a response).

The RunnersGarage name, product design, and curated shoe/race catalog are owned by us or our licensors. These Terms don't grant you any right to use our branding or catalog outside the Service.

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account — this is permanent and cannot be undone (see our Privacy Policy for exactly what that removes). We may suspend or terminate your access for violating these Terms, non-payment on a Pro subscription, or extended inactivity, with notice where practicable.

The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee that recommendations, race data, or generated plans are error-free, complete, or fit for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, RunnersGarage isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any injury resulting from following a training or recovery plan — see Section 02 above.

We may update these Terms from time to time; we'll update the effective date above and, for material changes, make a reasonable effort to notify you directly. Continued use of the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
